The Hawaii Department of Agriculture invites you to attend a

"Field Trial Introduction of Cashews as a New Crop for Hawaii"

Join the HDOA staff and George Paulose at an informative presentation on the Cashew Nut and decide if it could become a new crop for Hawaii. The presentation will include:
  • Basics of the cashew nut and tree
  • Feasibility of the crop for your field (Class C lands)
  • Planting, harvesting and marketing strategies
The HDOA will discuss the project, "Field Trial Introduction of Cashews as a New Crop for Hawaii" and will cover:
  • Project involvement by the Hawaii farmers/land owners
  • Distribution of the cashew plantings
  • Timeline
